The principle objectives of Jockey Club Estates are the continued development of its training grounds as centres of excellence for the training of Thoroughbred racehorses and the managing of its property portfolio, including the Jockey Club Rooms, in a commercial manner while protecting and promoting the Club’s values and heritage.
Pride in excellence
Jockey Club Estates prides itself that all trainers and racehorses using its training grounds are treated equally and provided with excellent facilities, all-year-round. The three highest-rated horses in training in Europe in 2017 were all trained on Newmarket's historic gallops - Enable and Cracksman under the care of John Gosden and Ulysses under the care of Sir Michael Stoute.
Steeped in more than 250 years of history, the unique Jockey Club Rooms is one of the UK’s last hidden treasures and maintains an unrivalled collection of historic equine art and racing memorabilia. Outside periods of private use by its Members, the Jockey Club Rooms is available as a venue for weddings, high-level business meetings and overnight accommodation.
