THE NEWMARKET GOLD SEASON
As we head back over to the Rowley Mile for the Newmarket Gold Season we are pleased to confirm that Owners and Trainers facilities will once again be sponsored by Al Basti Equiworld and we look forward to working in conjunction with the team to provide the most enjoyable experience for connections at Newmarket Racecourses.
RETURNING TO THE RACECOURSE
Updated 16 September
As part of the phased return of owners to racecourses in line with the Government guidance for elite sports grounds, we are able to allow a limited number of owners (or their representatives) to attend race meetings. However, to minimise risk for owners and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all raceday attendees, there will be a number of protocols in operation.
Following changes to Government coronavirus requirements, from Monday 14 September owners or their representatives attending British race meetings will be asked to gather in no more than groups of six people. This rules applies to all indoor and outdoor areas of the Amber Zone.
However, in line with the “rule of six” we are pleased to be able to offer owners increased badge allowances from four to six badges per runner.
In order to ensure the provision of correct and up to date information, all owners and their guests will be asked to provide their contact details on arrival at the racecourse to support the NHS Test and Trace requirements, if this information has not already been provided through the PASS System. The data will be collected, stored and managed in line with GDPR.
Once again, thank you for your continued support during these challenging times, not only for Newmarket Racecourses, but also for the wider racing industry.
Please be aware that you will not be able to enter our racecourses if your home postcode is subject to local lockdown restrictions.
We remain committed to providing our owners with the best experience possible and below you will find an outline on how to make the most of your raceday:
Please note on a raceday you will have access to the racecourse 45 minutes before the first race.
