The WIgley group HALF MARATHON returns for 2020 


The Wigley Group Half Marathon will take place from Warwick Racecourse on Sunday 1 March, 2020.


It will follow its traditional route through the lovely Warwickshire countryside providing athletes with an excellent opportunity to compete in a slightly undulating, traffic free road race.


This run is suitable for runners of all abilities and wheelchair users. Medals are awarded for all participants.


This event is UKA affiliated, so you can count it towards your official times this running season. Venue facilities include –

  • Chip Timing
  • Water Stations
  • Catering
  • Toilets
  • Equipment Shop
  • Wheelchair accessibility
  • Massage (For Small Donation)

Warwick Half Marathon Route 2019

We are delighted to be supported by Warwick Sports Shop and any athlete registered for the 2020 Warwick Half Marathon will receive a 10% discount on production of their entry confirmation in store.

By Road: The Racecourse is well signposted, and less than two miles from junction 15 of the M40. 


By Rail: Warwick Station is approximately one mile from the Racecourse. A direct service into London Marylebone (1 hour 45 minutes) or Birmingham Snow Hill is available.

There is parking available on site in the centre of the racecourse. Please enter through bread & meat close and head straight across the racecourse. The Warwick Sea Scouts will be parking cars for an optional donation to the charity.


Please note that Bread & Meat close will close at 8.30am and so any athletes arriving after 8.30am will not be allowed access into the centre of the course and other car parks will have to be utilised.

They share the aims of every Rotary Club across the world, which is to serve the community both locally and nationally, and as a community organisation they aim to make Warwick a better, happier, and friendlier place in which to live or to visit. The Rotary club works closely with the racecourse in delivering community events.
