on the day of racing
- Ensure you are well enough to attend
Please do not attend if you have any of the following symptoms: high temperature / new persistent cough / loss of taste or smell. It is critically important to ensure the safe running of this event and to protect the health of all attendees that you do not attempt to attend this event if you are experiencing any one of these symptoms.
- Contact Details
To protect everyone’s health we will require contact information for each individual attending before they come onto the racecourse. All those who have been invited to attend have been asked to provide contact details and these must be completed ahead of the raceday.
Each person will also need to adhere to the Covid Code of Conduct.
- Your ticket
Your ticket is designed to either
1) print at home on your home printer, or
2) be displayed on your mobile phone from your email confirmation.
With your ticket, please also bring an official form of photographic ID which will be checked against the details on your ticket.
Please note, tickets will only be sent to you electronically via email, and for the current time will not be available via our postal service or the app.
- Travel and arrival
We encourage all racegoers to travel to and from the course in their own vehicles. Parking and disabled parking will be available at each racecourse. The entry process to the racecourse may take longer than usual as attendees will be required to present their identification before being admitted.
- Expect significant changes
If you’re familiar with attending our racecourses you’ll no doubt have favourite areas, places you like to stand and tried and tested routes through our course you like to take. With the racecourses divided into zones and one-way systems in operation things will look very different. Please follow all signage and instructions from our teams and stewards.
Please be aware that inside space is very limited due to social distancing requirements. We therefore suggest you dress for the weather and don’t assume you’ll have a seat indoors for the duration of the day.
- Hygiene and social distancing
You must adhere to the social distancing rules and maintain a distance of at least 2m from others.
Please note that any groups gathering in groups of more than 6 may be asked to leave site.
Please remember to bring a personal supply of hand sanitiser. Hand washing and sanitising stations will also be available around the course.
- Face Coverings
Face masks or face coverings must be worn whenever you’re indoors at the racecourse, other than when eating and drinking. We continue to strongly recommend that you wear face coverings outdoors, particularly when you’re queuing or unable to maintain social distancing. Please make sure you bring a face mask with you as these will not be provided.
If you are exempt from wearing a mask please print off and carry the government exemption card or badge.
- Digital racecard
A digital racecard will be available on our website from the night before each raceday. You can also get full details of all runners from our app.
