Nicky Henderson

Champion Trainer three times and one of the most successful trainers ever at The Festival™ with 52 winners to date. Need we say more? He dominated the Champion Hurdle in the late 1980s with See You Then. More recently handled some spectacular jumpers, including Sprinter Sacre, Bobs Worth, Long Run, Binocular and Altior.

Diamond river

An unraced three-year-old by Imperial Monarch (IRE) out River Clyde (IRE). This imposing chestnut gelding has returned to Seven Barrows following a short break and will be trained with bumpers in mind for the 2018/19 season.

He comes from the first crop of an exciting young stallion in Imperial Monarch who is closely related to the imperious National Hunt sire Oscar. Nicky comments that “he is hacking away beautifully at home maturing every day and whilst he is not likely to grace the racecourse until early in January, he could be very nice looking at him physically”.

Neil Mulholland

He started his training career in 2008, having 17 winners in his first season. His biggest success to date is Druid’s Nephew winning The Ultima Business Solutions Handicap Steeple Chase at The Festival™ and winner of the Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown with The Young Master in 2016. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Bath, Neil’s yard boast a host of fantastic facilities.

Carolines charm

Carolines Charm has joined Neil Mulholland’s yard from Ireland where he looked a pleasing winner of his maiden point-to-point before falling at last. He is a progressive bay four-year-old by Masterofthehorse (IRE) out of Truckers Princess (IRE).

This gelding comes with an excellent reputation from Ireland, being one of the highest rated pointer-to-pointers on the circuit. Neil describes him as an “athletic horse with the aim being to run him in a bumper before progressing over hurdles”.

Kim Bailey

Kim offers top class training facilities with an owners experience to match. Having trained over 1200 winners and achieved the magical "Big Three“, The Grand National (Mr Frisk) 1990, The Cheltenham Gold Cup (Master Oats) 1995 and The Champion Hurdle (Alderbrook) 1995 his achievements are unrivalled.

HES No Trouble

Hes No Trouble trained by Kim Bailey is an Irish point-to-point winner who won his only start at Dromahane in Ireland at the end of April. A six-year-old bay gelding by Scorpion (IRE) out of She’s No Trouble (IRE), he’s a full sister to the Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Looks Like Trouble and therefore holds high hopes for a trip around the Prestbury track in the coming season.

Being a gorgeous stamp of a horse, he has a big future ahead of him. Kim has reported that “he is working extremely well on the gallops and having completed his first piece of fast work, he should be making his debut on an English racecourse before Christmas”.
