We can't wait to welcome you to the 2021 Cazoo Derby Festival. This guide contains everything you need to know about attending this year's event in one of our exclusive restaurants or Private Boxes.

 

We advise that all spectators take a lateral flow test before attending. This is not mandatory but recommended to help keep everyone safe. These are widely available through local community testing programmes and online via the Government website.

Ensure you are well enough to attend

Please do not attend if you have any of the following symptoms: high temperature / new persistent cough / loss of taste or smell. It is critically important to ensure the safe running of this event and to protect the health of all attendees that you do not attempt to attend this event if you are experiencing any one of these symptoms.

Contact Details

To protect everyone’s health we will require contact information for each individual attending before they come onto the racecourse. All those who have been invited to attend have been asked to provide contact details and these must be completed ahead of the raceday.

 

Each person will also need to adhere to the Covid Code of Conduct.

Your ticket is designed to either

1) print at home on your home printer, or

2) be displayed on your mobile phone from your email confirmation.

 

With your ticket, please also bring an official form of photographic ID which will be checked against the details on your ticket.

 

Please note, tickets will only be sent to you electronically via email, and for the current time will not be available via our postal service or the app.

Queen's Stand (Private Boxes, Chez Roux and Derby Suite) on Oaks Day:

  • Gentlemen must wear a jacket, collar, and tie.
  • Ladies are encouraged to wear a fascinator or hat.
  • Children should be dressed smartly.
  • Jeans, sports shorts, denim, or trainers are not acceptable.

 

Queen's Stand (Private Boxes, Chez Roux and Derby Suite) on Derby Day:

  • Either black or grey morning dress with a top hat, service dress or full national costume is obligatory for gentlemen.
  • Ladies must wear a formal day dress, or a tailored trouser suit, with a hat or substantial fascinator.
  • Children should be dressed smartly.

 

Duchess’s Stand (Private boxes) on both days:

  • Gentlemen must wear a jacket, collar, and tie.
  • Ladies are encouraged to wear a fascinator or hat.
  • Children should be dressed smartly.
  • Jeans, sports shorts, denim, or trainers are not acceptable.

 

The Views and Tattenham Straight Marquee on both days:

  • Gentlemen must wear a jacket and collar, ties are encouraged
  • Ladies are encouraged to wear a fascinator or hat.
  • Children should be dressed smartly.

Hospitality guests receive complimentary parking outside the racecourse. If travelling by car, follow signs for Car Park 20 as you approach the racecourse. Stewards will be on hand to direct you. Car park labels will be posted in advance of the day based on 1 per 4 guests. Please note cars cannot be left overnight.

Please be aware the entry process to the racecourse may take longer than usual as attendees will be required to present their identification before being admitted.

Expect significant changes

If you’re familiar with attending our racecourses you’ll no doubt have favourite areas, places you like to stand and tried and tested routes through our course you like to take. With the racecourses divided into zones and one-way systems in operation things will look very different. Please follow all signage and instructions from our teams and stewards.

 

Hygiene and social distancing

You must adhere to the social distancing rules and maintain a distance of at least 2m from others. Please remember to bring a personal supply of hand sanitiser. Hand washing and sanitising stations will also be available around the course.

 

Face Coverings

Face coverings must be worn at all times when you are:
Indoors (unless eating or drinking)
On balconies
On the Grandstand steppings
Under canopies

 

Face coverings are encouraged when outdoors.

 

Please make sure you bring a face covering with you. If you are exempt from wearing a mask please print off and carry the Government exemption card or badge.

4.00pm                Afternoon tea is served

4.30pm                Feature race

5.50pm                Last race

6.20pm                Bars close (or 30 mins after last race)

6.50pm                Hospitality areas close (or one hour after last race)

Please note that timings are subject to change.

For any special requirements, such as access needs, dietary requirements, or allergens, please email us no later than two weeks prior to the Derby Festival. Please include the lead booking name, date of reservation and restaurant.
