THE DERBY FESTIVAL FAQS

Here’s what entrance you’ll need to come through:

• Pavilion Entrance – All Hospitality Guests, Queen Elizabeth II Stand, Grandstand, Cedrics
• Queen Elizabeth II Entrance – Owners, Trainers, Jockeys, 1780 Guests, Queen Elizabeth II Stand Tickets and Hospitality, Cedrics guests
• Main Gate – All Hospitality Guests, Queen Elizabeth II Stand, Grandstand, Cedrics
• To access Upper Tattenham Enclosure – access via the entrance on Tattenham Corner Road
• To access DerbyFest! – arrive via the London Road Crossing
• To access The Hill – arrive via the Rubbing House, London Road Crossing or Tattenham Corner Road Crossing

Car Parking is now available to book online for 2027.

NEW FOR 2027 – All parking is now FREE for 2027. We would recommend pre-booking to ensure you receive a pass for your preferred car park.

Hospitality guests will continue to receive complimentary parking in specified car parks aligned to their package.

If you have already purchased parking for 2027, the team will be in touch to arrange a full refund on the payment. Your space is guaranteed.

Hospitality and Cedric's guests will automatically receive a parking pass with their tickets. General Admission racegoers will receive a parking pass if requested. Racegoers looking to park on the day do not require a pre-printed pass and will be directed to an available space on the day subject to availability. 

If you hold a Queen Elizabeth II or Grandstand ticket (inc Hospitality and Cedrics), you can go to the Parade Ring.

If you hold an Upper Tattenham or DerbyFest! Ticket you will not have access to the Parade Ring.

You can bring your own picnic into the following enclosures:

• DerbyFest
• The Hill
• Upper Tattenham

All other enclosures do not permit picnics, alcohol or furniture to be brought in. You can see our full picnic policy here.

We do not accept cash on the Racecourse except betting with the Bookmakers.

There is a shuttle bus from Epsom Station and it will be operating on both days of The Betfred Derby Festival.

Shuttle Buses will be running from Epsom Railway Station & back to Epsom Town Centre each day.

The buses will be in operation as follows:

• 09.30am until 14.00pm from Epsom Station to Epsom Downs Racecourse
• 15.30pm until 19.30pm from Epsom Downs to Epsom Town Centre

Admission onto The Hill is free and you will be able to access most areas.

Access into DerbyFest is also free but we do recommend securing your tickets in advance as we cannot guarantee access on the day without a ticket.

You can bring folding chairs and tables into Upper Tattenham but gazebos are not permitted.

You can bring chairs, gazebos and tables on to The Hill.

There are bars and catering outlets located in and around the Queen Elizabeth II Stand but the majority of eateries are located within the Derby Village around the Grandstand. 

The 2027 Betfred Derby will be run at 4:00pm on Saturday 5 June.
