Named after the year of the very first running of The Derby, 1780 is a celebration of the race’s remarkable origins and gives guests the chance to experience the Betfred Derby Festival in a space that honour’s its history whilst enjoying a fresh, modern hospitality experience.
Positioned along the final furlong, just down from our iconic Winning Post, 1780 offers unbeatable proximity to the action. The glass-fronted marquee has a trackside viewing deck, with guests also having access to our new Champions seating right next to the marquee.
Inside, the space is relaxed yet refined – a modern setting built on timeless tradition. Guests will enjoy a three-course ‘Best of British’ dining experience, afternoon tea and an inclusive bar – with live entertainment throughout the day plus an exclusive after-party within the marquee to keep the celebrations going on long after the final race
