Whether you’re looking for top class sport, a fun fair, a pantomime or festive fun with face painters, crafts and soft play, Kempton Park’s 32 Red Winter Festival on 26th and 27th December has it all. And under 18s are free!
The 32Red Winter Festival is the jewel in Kempton Park’s crown. Boasting 12 top quality jump races over two days, it’s the mid-season jump racing event you can’t afford to miss.
Boxing Day is packed with top quality racing with no less than three Grade 1 races including the Christmas Hurdle, Kauto Star Novices’ Chase and the 32Red King George VI Steeple Chase. Won in 2017 by Nicky Henderson trained Might Bite, the race is steeped in history and has an impressive list of previous champions with the likes of Arkle, Desert Orchid and five time winner Kauto Star taking their places on the roll of honour. This year’s line-up boasts the best of the best so is sure to be another cracker. Gates open at 10am with the first race at 12.50pm then the last race at 3.40pm with crowd favourites, The Wild Murphys performing in the Sports Bar.
Day two of the 32Red Winter Festival on 27th December offers a six race card to savour. Highlights include the Grade 2 Wayward Lad Novice’s Steeple Chase and the Desert Orchid Chase which has offered some spectacular winners over the past few years including Sire de Grugy, Sprinter Sacre and Special Tiara. Gates open at 10.30am with the first race at 12.50pm and the last race at 3.35pm.
Together with the exciting Christmas racing, there is entertainment for all of the family on 27th December from fairground rides and a pantomime to face painters, craft tables and soft play along with festive food options for everyone.
