Boasting 12 top quality races over two days, it’s clear to see why the Ladbrokes Christmas Festival is the jewel in Kempton Park’s crown.
This event holds some of the most significant races in the Jump calendar, including the Grade 1 Boxing Day showpiece, the Ladbrokes King George VI Chase, as well as the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Christmas Hurdle, and the Grade 2 Ladbrokes Desert Orchid Chase on day two.
Frodon won the 2020 Ladbrokes King George VI Chase for trainer Paul Nicholls and jockey Bryony Frost, who became the first female rider to win the race. Frodon led throughout the three-mile race and held off the fast-finishing Waiting Patiently to give trainer Paul Nicholls his 12th King George win.
