KEMPTON PARK NEWS: GAELIC WARRIOR THE 6-4 FAVOURITE AS LADBROKES KING GEORGE VI CHASE ENTRIES ARE UNVEILED
Irish raider Gaelic Warrior is the 6-4 favourite with the sponsor for Kempton Park’s £250,000 Boxing Day spectacular, the Grade One Ladbrokes King George VI Chase.
The seven-year-old was an impressive winner of the John Durkan on Sunday, beating a host of impressive names, including the 2025 Boodles Gold Cup winner and the 2025 Randox Grand National winner.
Also among the 20 entries is previous winner Banbridge (2024) with 10 entries from Ireland and 1 from France, making the race look like a truly international contest.
