heart pounding winter racing

The first 2020 fixture at Sandown Park was a thrilling day of Jump racing. The day hosted the Grade 1 Tolworth Novices' Hurdle which was not to be missed!

THE TOLWORTH HURDLE

Tolworth Hurdle Day is set to host seven races including The Tolworth Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1), ran over two miles. Won in 1984 by Desert Orchid, the roll of honour includes impressive stars like Monsignor in 2000 and Summerville Boy in 2018. This year we saw Colin Tizzard win the Unibet Tolworth Novices' Hurdle for the third time, seeing the impressive Fiddlerontheroof power to the finish.
