Brand new Merseyside Sport Q&A with John Barnes, Leon Osman and Sam Quek for Festival Zone

The new look Thursday will also include a Champions of Merseyside sport feel, with a number of sporting champions part of the Champions Lounge on Grand National Thursday including Sir Kenny Dalglish, John Barnes, Leon Osman, Michael Owen, Sam Quek, Beth Tweddle and Sir AP McCoy. Due to the success of last year’s inaugural Champions Lounge, the Lounge has increased in size and is a course facing facility. There will also be a brand new element to this Merseyside Sport feel with John Barnes and Leon Osman taking part in a Q&A at approx. 12.50pm in the Aintree Pavilion, hosted by Aintree ambassador, Sam Quek OBE. This will follow a new Punter’s Panel for this area which will take place at 12.30pm and will look ahead to the day’s racing with current and former jockeys, Katie Walsh, Ruby Walsh and others to be announced soon. This is for Festival Zone and West Tip customers and another new addition to the day.
