The Aintree Grand Women’s Summit is now in its sixth year and is recognised across the industry as a sold-out sports conference on the morning of Ladies Day, at the Randox Health Grand National Festival.

Looking back to the 2019 renewal of the Summit, the event saw Denise Lewis OBE, Tracey Neville MBE and Baroness Dido Harding discussing the powerful relationship of sport and mental wellbeing, with mental health campaigner Bryony Gordon as host.

Dan will be joined by a panel of current sports stars and experts who will be announced in the forthcoming months.

BBC Breakfast Presenter, Dan Walker said: “I can’t wait to host the Aintree Grand Women’s Summit on Ladies Day this year. Sport is brilliant at breaking down barriers and I think The Jockey Club have come up with a great way of raising the profile of women’s sport by using the platform of the Randox Health Grand National to discuss big issues across the industry.”

The Aintree Grand Women’s Summit package will invite guests to enjoy a VIP experience of the 2020 Randox Health Ladies Day including a ticket to the Grand Women’s Summit with a delicious breakfast on offer, a walk of the Grand National course to see the Grand National fences up close followed by an afternoon of racing.

John Baker, Managing Director of Aintree Racecourse said: “The Aintree Grand Women’s Summit is going from strength to strength and we’re delighted Dan Walker is set to host the 2020 renewal. Last year’s event was one of the stand out moments of the 2019 Randox Health Grand National Festival with a superb line up of guests so we’re excited to see what next year’s Summit will bring.”

Tallulah Lewis, Women in Racing Chair, said: “We are delighted to be once again working with our corporate partners The Jockey Club in co-hosting the 2020 Aintree Grand Women’s Summit. This event plays an important role in bringing women together to share ideas, experiences and learnings which is crucial to career development across sport and business. Dan will be an excellent host and we are looking forward to another exciting day in April.”
