Randox Grand National weights to be revealed on Racing TV live from Aintree Racecourse with Ed Chamberlin as host

With three weeks to go until the unveiling of the Randox Grand National weights, The Jockey Club announces it will be working with Racing TV to host a live broadcast from Aintree’s Weighing Room on Tuesday, 16 February at 11.30am. The broadcast will also be streamed through The Jockey Club’s and ITV Racing’s social media channels.

Ed Chamberlin will host and will be speaking to a number of key people including BHA’s Steeplechase Team Leader and the man who has sole discretion for deciding the weights, Martin Greenwood.

Ed and Martin will be joined by former jockeys Ruby and Katie Walsh to reveal the weights live on Racing TV. There will be reaction from key trainers including three-time Grand National winner, Gordon Elliott, with an update on hat-trick seeking Tiger Roll; Paul Nicholls, successful with Neptune Collonges in 2012; virtual Grand National-winning trainer, Christian Williams; Jonjo O’Neill, who handled 2010 victor Don’t Push It; 2017; Jessica Harrington, who went close to victory in 2019 when saddling runner-up Magic Of Light and jockey Daryl Jacob, who partnered Neptune Collonges to success.

There will be interviews from the joint-most successful owner in Grand National history, Trevor Hemmings; former England No 1 golfer and racehorse owner, Lee Westwood as well as Welsh & Lions Rugby player and owner of Potters Corner, Jonathan Davies. There will also be an interview with the Managing Director of headline sponsor Randox, Dr Peter FitzGerald, on its recent five-year partnership extension and a busy year at the forefront of fighting Covid-19.

The Randox Grand National weights will be broadcast live at 11.30am on Tuesday 16th February and is free to air on Racing TV, channel 426 on Sky or 536 on Virgin Media, through the RacingTV app, available on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Apple TV or online at racingtv.com<http://racingtv.com
