Recently retired as a partner from Burges Salmon LLP (where I spent all of my 30 year career as a lawyer) specialising in competition and regulatory law. During that time I spent over 25 years advising racecourses on licensing and gambling regulation. As a mad keen horse racing fan that has been a joy. I have owned many point-to-pointers for over 25 years with varying degrees of success (I did win the Exeter Intermediate one year) and have a four year old at the moment that is quite exciting and am looking forward to. I live near Bristol with my partner and 2 very old spaniels.

Philip is a Director of Private Clients for the wealth management firm Charles Stanley and responsible for heading up the Exeter office. He looks after a wide range of clients including many with an agricultural or equine background. Philip owns equine interests within five miles of Exeter Racecourse and his sporting interests including horse racing, golf and rugby.

Having worked as Sports Editor for Archant Regional newspapers for 25 years, Lee is interested in many sports but horse racing has always been a passion.

Having ridden in point to points, Lee went on to steward at established Pony Racing in Devon and Cornwall, and currently trains three point to pointers from her home in South Devon.

Lee, along with dairy farmer husband Lawrence, has recently set up Surfing Cow Devon Ice Cream as a farm diversification. They have two daughters, Zoe and Pippa.
