STABLING
The Randox Grand National Festival
All overnight stabling and Stable Staff accommodation MUST be booked, in advance. Please email Amy Martin, Stable Manager, at amy.martin@thejockeyclub.co.uk with your details/requirements at the earliest opportunity. Full stable security, with BHA stable access control and CCTV, will operate from noon on Wednesday 7th April.
Stable Staff Accommodation on-site will be limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Rooms will be single occupancy unless staff are from the same household.
Complimentary take-away food will be available for all Stable Staff from the Becher’s Lodge Canteen. A covered area will be provided nearby where food can be consumed in a socially distanced manner.
Please note that stabling and accommodation will not be available at Haydock Park Racecourse this year as it is being utilised for Irish horses and staff, who we are required to accommodate in a separate ‘bio-bubble’ under the instruction of Horse Racing Ireland.
Non-Permit Holders
Owners with horses running in The Randox Foxhunters’ Steeple Chase on the Thursday, who do not have a permit to train, must ensure that their staff bring with them photographic identification.
Gallops
The fibre-sand exercise gallop will be available daily from 8am to 10am.
Non-Stable Staff Accommodation
Many hotels in Liverpool City are open and available to book for individuals who must travel for work purposes. With this year’s event taking place behind-closed-doors, there is greater availability and choice of accommodation than there might otherwise have been. Please note that some hotels may request proof that individuals are travelling for work purposes such as a letter on headed paper.
