Racing is Abandoned

Following an inspection and assessment of the ground conditions, we have made the decision to abandon our Season Opener scheduled for Thursday 9 October.
We were initially forecast to receive 30mm of rain leading into the weekend, however only 11mm fell. With limited watering capacity and no further rainfall expected, conditions are not suitable for racing.

While this is disappointing for everyone involved, the safety and welfare of horses, jockeys, and all participants remains our highest priority.
We have taken this decision at the earliest opportunity to minimise disruption and inconvenience to racegoers, participants, and connections.

Rest assured everyone who has purchased tickets in advance will be issued with a refund automatically. If you have booked hospitality, our team will be in touch with you.
