Kempton Park banishes the blue Monday blues

Press Release 21st January 2015 Kempton Park

Blue Monday has been dubbed the most depressing day of the year due to post-Christmas debt, bad weather and failing New Year’s resolutions.  However, Kempton Park is here to banish away those blues and put a smile back on the faces of their racegoers with a fantastic FREE racing offer.

Kempton Park are offering FREE tickets for all racegoers to BetBright Chase Day on Saturday, 21st February which features an afternoon of quality Jump racing and free family entertainment.

To claim the offer racegoers simply need to pre-register for tickets at www.kempton.co.uk by Sunday, 15th February.  Four adult tickets can be claimed per adult with under 18s free as usual.

The offer saw 2,500 tickets claimed on Blue Monday alone brightening up the most depressing day of the year so far.  Over 7,000 tickets have now been claimed from a total of 12,000 available.

The afternoon fixture will include a variety of free children’s entertainment plus live music from popular local band Fake Tan.

Rupert Trevelyan, London Regional Director for Jockey Club Racecourses; said,

“We are delighted to offer a free raceday at Kempton Park and the response on Blue Monday was overwhelming.  This is the first time we have offered FREE entry for the BetBright Chase Day and to see 2,500 tickets be claimed in 24 hours is a great response.”
