With Boxing Day Racing now just over 50 days away, we thought it would be a good time to highlight some of our favourite things about our most festive fixture of the year! Tickets are on sale now, with up to 20% off when bought in advance.
1) Did you know that all of the entertainment we provide on Racedays is completely FREE? There are no additional costs for face painting, crafts, live music shows or meet & greets. And the best bit? All U18S go FREE!
2) If you were here last year, you might have noticed a very green, very mean but VERY hilarious character walking around. You all loved him so much, that we’ve invited him back for 2025 – and this year he’s bringing a Buddy! Expect to be entertained by this hilarious comedy double act walking through the Racecourse.
3) One for the animal lovers – the chance to walk alongside an Alpaca! Walking with Alpacas Lincolnshire will be based in the Lawn enclosure, offering everyone the chance to meet these wonderful and friendly animals.
4) Explore more of the course for less! On Boxing Day we combine the Lawn and Tattersalls enclosure to create one large General Admission enclosure. This gives families the chance to explore all that the Tattersalls enclosure has to offer (huge marquee, additional bars, access to the pre-parade, parade ring and winnners’ enclosure) all for the price of a Lawn enclosure ticket. Of course the County enclosure is open too, offering unbeatable racing views and access to the cosy County Lounge.
5) The feature race on Boxing Day is the Lincolnshire National. Sponsored by Pallinc, the race is run over a distance of 3m3f and often sees equine fan favourites among the lineup. It’s the perfect highlight to end the year of racing and the cheers during this race can be heard right across the course – it’s electric!
