Easy to reach

 

Set in Lincolnshire, Market Rasen Racecourse offers a convenient setting for Christmas celebrations, with simple travel links from Lincoln and across the East Midlands area. Our accessible venue facilities help make the experience smooth and welcoming for every guest. 

Access via the M1, A1 and A46, the racecourse is well signposted on the east side of Market Rasen alongside the A631.

  • From the A1: please take the exit sign posted to Newark, Lincoln A46 and Newark North Gate Train Station. Then follow the A46 all the way to Market Rasen.
  • From the M1: please exit at junction 24 and follow the A453 into Nottingham following A52 then onto the A46 to Newark.
  • From the M18 (North of Market Rasen): please exit onto the M180 sign posted to Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Humberside Airport. Then take the exit onto the A15 sign posted to Lincoln. Then take an exit onto the A631 sign posted to Market Rasen.

Market Rasen has its own railway station and is approximately 1 mile from the racecourse. Trains to Market Rasen from the South go via Lincoln, from the North via Doncaster and from the West via Barnetby. There are taxis available at the station, or if you prefer to walk it is estimated to take approximately 25 minutes.
