Picnics at SANDOWN PARK

A trackside treat

The Picnic Enclosure is the perfect spot for soaking up the summer atmosphere, situated next to the track in the Grandstand Enclosure with views of the racecourse and stands. If you're bringing along a picnic for the day, it must be consumed within this area.

• We encourage the use of picnic rugs but we do not allow guests to bring tables, chairs, gazebos or other items of furniture onto the racecourse. There are picnic benches within the Picnic Enclosure but as this area can become busy we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

• Alcohol is prohibited from being brought onto the racecourse under any circumstances. This includes any form of picnic. Sandown Park retains the right to refuse entry to anyone attempting to bring alcohol onto the racecourse. View the full Alcohol Policy here.

• Please note that barbecues are not permitted at Sandown Park, to ensure the safety of all guests on the racecourse.
