The limelight shines not just on the champion horses and jockeys but Liverpool’s best dressed.

A day marked in the calendar months in advance, Ladies Day is watched the world over, renowned for its famous race day fashion.

The Style Awards in partnership with Debenhams are turning up the glamour for 2026 with the launch of a brand new category: Best Hat. Created to honour the bold, unforgettable, and show-stopping headpieces that define Ladies Day at Aintree, the new award celebrates the creativity that makes the day unlike any other in the racing calendar. And with the prize for this brand-new category to be revealed soon, anticipation is already building.

To mark the occasion, Debenhams Ambassador and world-renowned milliner Lisa Tan will join the 2026 judging panel, bringing her exceptional eye for race-day style. Originally from Australia, Lisa’s career spans fashion design, journalism, luxury retail and, ultimately, the millinery craft she’s now globally recognised for. A dedicated supporter of horseracing, her racewear expertise is sought after across the UK, US and Australia by style leaders and media alike. With Lisa on board and a brand-new award up for grabs, this year’s Style Awards promise to be the most vibrant and fashion-forward yet.
