Red Rum 50

In year two of the five-year Red Rum 50 campaign the focus has been on continuing to create long-lasting landmarks across the site, most notably this year with the addition of a mural located above the newly-renovated Red Rum Bar – be sure to head to that bar within the Festival Zone enclosure!

Of course, 1974 saw the titanic battle between the previous years Grand National winner in Red Rum and Cheltenham Gold Cup winner L’Escargot – there was only one winner as Rummy crossed the line for his second consecutive Grand National triumph.
