Cumbria’s social highlight of the year is set to get a star-studded twist, with international music sensation Ellie Sax confirmed today as the official act for post-racing entertainment.
Ladies Night (Saturday 4th July) at Carlisle Racecourse is one of the most unique events in the nation’s racing calendar, featuring the only all-female jockey racecard in the UK. While the action on the track is not to be missed, on-course events promise just as much excitement, with the return of the highly anticipated Style Awards and world-class entertainment from Ellie Sax.
Renowned for her electrifying performances, Ellie has graced prestigious stages including Glastonbury and the Monaco Grand Prix, bringing her international talent and energy to audiences around the globe.
Speaking about plans for the day, General Manager Helen Willis said: “Planning is well underway for our Caledonia Park Ladies Night, and it’s shaping up to be even bigger and better than before. We’re delighted to be working with Caledonia Park Designer Outlet once again, who add an extra element to what is already an amazing day.
“To top it all off, Ellie Sax will be joining us to keep the party going after racing, and we can’t wait to experience the great vibes and energy that she’ll bring to the night.”

In 2025, Carlisle Racecourse announced that Ladies Night would take place on a Saturday for the first time, having previously been staged on the August Bank Holiday Monday. Once again, the glamorous event is scheduled for a weekend evening, taking place on Saturday 4th July 2026.
