Now firmly established as a key date in the diary for both racing fans and industry participants, the fixture shines a spotlight on the talent and contribution of women in British horseracing.
Following the success of last year's fixture, the event returns on Saturday, having previously been staged on a Monday evening in August.
Helen Willis, General Manager at Carlisle Racecourse said: “Ladies Night is one of our flagship fixtures here and we are so excited that it is just around the corner. The day provides an important platform for riders at all stages of their careers and has become a highlight of our summer season, attracting growing interest from racegoers and the wider racing community.
“An additional key feature of the day is a special charity stable staff race, which will see 10 female riders take part in support of Racing Welfare. The charity provides vital practical, emotional and financial support to people working across the horseracing industry, and the race forms an important part of our fundraising efforts.”
Off the track, Ladies Night also offers a relaxed summer social atmosphere, with racegoers encouraged to take part in the annual Style Awards, celebrating the best dressed on course. Visitors can also enjoy £10 off bottles of Prosecco before the first race, adding to the occasion’s celebratory feel.
Willis added: “The day is about showcasing talent, supporting women in the sport, and creating an occasion that feels both meaningful and enjoyable for everyone involved. We’re proud of what it represents and excited to welcome racegoers back this year. We are also delighted to welcome back Caledonia Park Designer Outlet as both the title sponsor of Ladies Night and partner of the popular Style Awards. Their continued support plays a key role in the success of the fixture, and the racecourse is grateful for their ongoing commitment to helping deliver one of our standout summer sporting and social events."
