Radio DJ Adele Roberts is to perform a live set after racing on VL Aesthetics Ladies Night at Carlisle Racecourse (Monday 7th August), it has today been announced.
Roberts is one of the UK’s best-loved radio personalities and currently presents BBC Radio 1’s Weekend Breakfast Show.
In 2019 the DJ also participated in I’m a Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here and won the sixth series of Celebrity Coach Trip on 2020.
It’s not just Ladies Night off the track either, as the VL Aesthetics Ladies Night is the only race meeting in the UK to feature a female jockey only card.
Adele Roberts said: ‘I can’t wait to get up to Carlisle for Ladies Night on Monday 7th August and I’m excited to perform for everyone!
“I keep hearing how popular the raceday is, so it’ll be great for me to experience for myself and I can’t wait to meet as many people as possible.
“Make sure you bring your dancing shoes for my DJ set after Racing!”

“The fixture is the only one of its kind in the country due to the fact it features a female-only racecard and it is an event that we are all incredibly proud of.
