As a Racemaker, you’ll be part of a supportive and energetic team, helping keep the day running smoothly while creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for every visitor that walks through the gates.

Being a Racemaker is a fantastic experience! The Randox Grand National Festival is one of Britain’s most iconic sporting events, attracting fans from around the world.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, challenge yourself, develop new skills, and gain valuable experience to add to your CV.
Most importantly, you’ll take real pride in being part of the wider Grand National team, helping create unforgettable moments for every visitor.
The first step is to register and complete an application by midnight on Sunday 22 February 2026.
Applications will be carefully reviewed, and applicants will receive an update on the outcome of their application at the beginning of March.
Applicants who are successful in progressing to the next stage will be invited to onboard onto the payment system, complete required training, and provide proof of their right to work. All onboarding steps must be completed before the training day in order to continue in the process.
The training day will take place at Aintree Racecourse. All successful applicants will be invited to attend, and only those who demonstrate the required skills and attitude on the day will be offered the opportunity to work as a Racemaker.
Racemakers must be available to work across all three days of The Randox Grand National Festival, from Thursday 9 April 2026 to Saturday 11 April 2026.
