ALDER DEMAIN AKERS STAN MELLOR CHASE DAY

Warwick Racecourse proudly celebrates two powerful legacies this November, blending sporting heritage with heartfelt remembrance. The Stan Mellor Chase Day honours one of the sports finest – Stan Mellor, the pioneering jockey, trainer, and the first to ride 1,000 Jump winners – with a seven-race card headlined by the Stan Mellor Novices’ Steeple Chase. Expect competitive fields, tight finishes, and that unmistakable Warwick atmosphere as racing history takes centre stage.

Alongside this celebration of equestrian greatness we pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our Armed Forces. Military veterans receive discounted entry with valid ID, and the day opens with a poignant Last Post ceremony and wreath laying. Military charities will be on course, sharing their vital work and ways to show support.

It’s a memorable blend of heritage, remembrance, and top-class racing – a day every racing fan and supporter will want to be part of.
