The two-time Gold Medallist, who claimed Individual Gold on his horse Big Star at the Rio Olympic Games in August, was invited to Warwick Racecourse to speak about his remarkable career.
Skelton was joined in the Paddock Pavilion by representatives from businesses across the region, along with Channel 4 Racing’s Rishi Persad, who hosted a Q&A with the showjumping legend.
Andre Klein, General Manager at Warwick Racecourse, said: “It was fantastic Nick could join us as our special guest.
“Nick has enjoyed a remarkable career and is quite rightly a local hero and it was great for our guests to hear about his experience at the Olympic Games in Rio and to take part in a Q&A expertly led by Rishi.”
Warwick Racecourse’s next meeting is the Members’ Raceday on Wednesday, November 16. Gates open at 10.35am, with the first race at 12.35pm and last at 3.50pm. General admission tickets start from £12.50
