Warwick Racecourse will officially launch the festive season with its Christmas Light Up Raceday sponsored by Colossus.

Horse racing fans will join the seasonal celebrations on Thursday, November 29 as the course, and town of Warwick, will both turn on their Christmas lights.

The raceday will be sponsored for the first time by Colossus, home of the world’s biggest sports jackpots and will feature a packed afternoon of races.

The first of the day is scheduled to start at 12.05pm and the last set to take place at 3.20pm.

David O’Reilly, COO for Colossus, said: “We’ve seen a great response to our racing pools since launching them in July and are pleased to be sponsoring our first meeting at Warwick.

Warwick’s festive fun will continue with the Eventmasters Christmas at the Races fixture on Thursday, December 13 and the New Year’s Eve Raceday.

November 29 is also an important day in the Warwick social calendar as it is town’s very popular Victorian Evening, when the town’s Christmas Lights in the market square will be turned on. Racegoers are being encouraged to stay on after the races and join in the festive occasion in town.

Information on Colossus products will be featured throughout Thursday’s programme, with racegoers having the opportunity to take on the pools at colossusbets.com, either solo or by joining a Syndicate.

General admission tickets start at £7.50 per person with under 18’s entry free. Gates open at 10.05am, the first race starts at 12.05pm, with the last underway at 3.20pm.
