Monday, 11th December 2017 – Racing at Wincanton on Boxing Day (Tuesday, December 26th) is the highlight of Somerset’s social and sporting calendar, and with a surge in advance booking, Wincanton Racecourse is the place to be over Christmas.
Hospitality is now sold-out in all three restaurants and corporate boxes.
However, the racecourse does house numerous bars and catering outlets from the See More Business to the Badger Bar that offers a variety of hot and cold convenience snacks.
Wincanton Racecourse also anticipates their Boxing Day raceday being a sold-out fixture, with advance sales out performing former years.
It is advisable to purchase tickets in advance with prices starting from £10 in the Course Enclosure with complimentary entry for children aged 17-years and under when accompanied by an adult* – seeing a glorious outing for a family-of-four valued at £20. Grandstand entry is priced at £18 per person with the Premier Enclosure retailing at £25. (*Complimentary admission tickets are required for children.)
Huw Williams, General Manager of Wincanton Racecourse, said: “The team is very much looking forward to our Boxing Day meeting.
“We continue to deliver value for money and look forward to welcoming the very many racegoers.”
Gates open on Boxing Day at 10:30am with a seven-racecard off at 12:25pm. To order tickets please call 0344 579 3014 or visit wincanton.thejockeyclub.co
