Sponsorship can work well looking if you are looking to bring clients as the experience value of sponsorship is really fantastic (being in the parade ring, close to the horses, judging the best turned out and being in an advantageous position to watch the racing and trophy presentation to ecstatic connections- all very exciting!). The combination of a both sponsorship and corporate hospitality tends to work particularly well and so may work very well for your client in terms of promotional and advertising potential.

Race sponsorship offers excellent company brand exposure through exclusive race naming rights, on-course branding and racecard advertising reaching not only thousands of racegoers, but also a far-reaching audience at home and in the UK’s 8,500 betting shops, thanks to a high level of live exposure on RacingTV and in local and national press.

The race card is the official programme for each fixture. Race sponsors automatically secure an advert, however, advertisers can purchase space on an ad hoc basis, either meeting by meeting or season long.

The racecourse has a variety of different signage locations from in front of the jumps themselves, to the finishing straight to the parade ring. You can paint the racetrack in your branding for your race day if that’s what you want!

With over 100 TVs within the racecourse and a giant in-field screens promoting your message to our customers could not be easier than running adverts through this channel.

At Wincanton Racecourse we like to think outside the square and we tailor-make unique promotional opportunities that make you and your message stand out. We are a lot more fun than the norm.

Wincanton has 12,000 followers on Facebook, 18,000 followers on Twitter, 4,200 followers on Instagram. We also distribute E-comms to existing and past customers. We share social media messages with our various community partners. These channels provide no-end of opportunities.

From the genuinely high-quality Chasers Restaurant, that delivers cuisine equal to any racecourse experience in the country, to the wonderful intimacy of our corporate boxes with views across the track, we have a variety of hosting locations to suit groups of all sizes. We offer a wide choice selection of menus and have an extensive wine list and beverage list.

The Parade Ring and Winner’s Circle are the theatres for many of our race day focuses. Before the races our sponsors are asked to select the best turned out horse and present a prize to the groom, we then conduct an interview through the course PA with a company representative, following the race the sponsor will be involved in the presentation to the winning connections and then join them for a celebratory drink with the Racecourse committee.

There is no end of opportunities to promote your business to our captive audience. Promotional staff welcoming patrons on arrival, tastings, and giveaways, on-course public competitions to collect data, the static promotional material on bars and restaurant tables.

Wincanton Racecourse is proud to be associated with the multi-award winning Jockey Club Catering. We have developed a wonderful reputation for the quality of both of our food and level of service. All our rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, warm, tastefully decorated and functional. Hospitality bookings are at a record level with many of our day’s reaching capacity.
