Aintree Racecourse, home to the Randox Health Grand National, has won ‘Best External Event Space’ at the CHS Industry Awards on Thursday 31st May.

The venue was named ‘Best External Event Space’ for its versatile outside space hire.  The venue was up against the likes of Butlin’s Conference & Events, Drayton Manor, Towcester Racecourse and fellow Jockey Club venue, Cheltenham Racecourse.

Now in its fourth year, the CHS Awards provide hotels and venues a fantastic opportunity to showcase their facilities. The ceremony, was held at The Principle Hotel, Manchester.

John Baker, Regional Director at Aintree Racecourse, said: ‘We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award.  Aintree is a world class sporting venue for horse racing, so it’s an honour to receive this accolade for our conference and events space.
