Cheltenham Racecourse Golf Classic at Cleeve Hill Golf Club – Thursday 26th June 2025
The “Golf Classic at Cleeve” is being run by Cheltenham Racecourse as a fundraiser for the Gold Cup 100 Community Fund at Cleeve Hill Golf Club where the original running of a Gold Cup race was staged in 1819. The inaugural running of the race we celebrate now, as the Boodles Gold Cup, was first conducted in 1924.
Ranked No.67 in the Top 100 Golf Courses (GB & Ireland) by Golf World, the course is challenging for all levels and has magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, with a number of the final holes looking down on Cheltenham Racecourse.
We look forward to a fun but competitive day
- Bacon rolls, tea and coffee on arrival with pizza out on the course and a two course BBQ back at the club house
- Each team will be named after a famous Festival winner and will have the chance of having a photograph with the Cheltenham Gold Cup
- There will be prizes for the first three teams, as well as the longest drive and nearest the pin on selected holes
- The competition is limited to 16 teams of four. Cost of entry is £450 per team of 4
