Members of the public are welcome to walk their dogs on the Epsom Downs
Epsom Downs is also home to a successful Training Grounds with over 150 horses currently in training. Horses will be exercising on the Downs every morning until 12 noon, therefore it is requested, according to the Epsom and Walton Conservators, that dogs are to be kept on a lead during this time.
Following this, dogs are free to run around and enjoy the Downs among the many other users including walkers, cyclists and pleasure riders. Please ensure that where any other animal is concerned, whether a racehorse or pleasure horse, that dogs are kept under control.
