GOING CHANGE AT EPSOM DOWNS
The going has changed to
Good, Good to Firm
in places after a dry night. It was previously Good.
Andrew Cooper, Clerk of the Course at Epsom Downs, said at 9.15am: "It has been dry overnight and I have called the going Good, Good to Firm in places, but it is very much good in the main, with just bits and pieces on the quicker side.
"The weather is overcast at the moment, but is meant to brighten up later. It is again forecast to be dry tonight, with a hot, dry day tomorrow.
"We are bound to consider watering this evening, but whether we will do or not is a decision we won't make until at some point this afternoon, which may be after racing."

Running rail
The inside running rail is dolled out by up to five yards from the mile marker to the winning post for racing today.
The rail will go back to its original position after racing, providing fresh ground on the inside for Investec Derby Day tomorrow.
