GAUCHO POP-UP RESTAURANT ANNOUNCED AT BETFRED DERBY FESTIVAL

24th March 2026 Epsom Downs

Tuesday 24th March

The Jockey Club and Epsom Downs Racecourse are excited to announce today, Monday 23rd March, a new dining experience at the Betfred Derby Festival. On Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June, Gaucho will bring their modern Latin-American dining to the festival.

Renowned for their exceptional steaks and outstanding Malbec wines, Gaucho offers a relaxed yet refined space to enjoy the festival beyond the racecourse. The pop-up restaurant will combine bold flavours with warm hospitality and walk-in ease - all set within a vibrant atmosphere, just moments from the track. The restaurant has previously held similar pop-ups at the Cheltenham Festival, Hyde Park and Ascot Racecourse.

Jim Allen, General Manager at Epsom Downs Racecourse, said, “We are excited to be bringing a new dining experience to the Betfred Derby Festival for 2026, as part of our ongoing investment and development. Having the addition of Gaucho as such a well-respected brand, will add a new and exciting element for our customers to enjoy across the two days.”

Zack Charilaou, Commercial Director at Gaucho, said “We’re delighted to be a partner of the iconic Derby Festival by bringing Gaucho’s exceptional Latin-American inspired dining experience to the event for the first time. Being part of events like these allow us to continue to create memorable moments for guests beyond our restaurants. We are looking forward to welcoming both new and returning guests to our pop-up restaurant over the two days.”
