The Owners Car Parks can be accessed via Downs Road and Tattenham Corner Road, opposite the Grandstand entrance.


You can view the latest information for Owners from the ROA website here.


Entry is through the Entrance Pavillion where you will be able to collect your owners’ badges per horse. Details of those owners attending will have had to be pre-registered through the PASS System by 4pm the day before the fixture. Owners who have not pre-registered will not be allowed access to the racecourse on the day.

The racecourse is just a few minutes from Epsom Town Centre on the B290 Epsom Downs Road or alternatively just off Junction 9 of the M25.


Electric Car Charging Points are not available on race days.



Owners and Trainers with a horse running on the day will be directed to Car Park 6 located off Downs Road.


There are Disabled car park spaces for Blue Badge holders.  Please contact Amy Bone on 01372 726311 / 07884 655796 or email with your vehicle details to arrange.


Gatwick Airport is approximately 18.5 miles from the racecourse whilst Heathrow Airport is approximately 27 miles away.

You can access Epsom Downs Racecourse by taking a train to Epsom Station, Epsom Downs Station or Tattenham Corner Station.


Epsom Station

Epsom Train Station is a 10 minute taxi or bus ride to the racecourse.  Go Ahead London runs a shuttle bus service from Epsom Station to the racecourse.  Please visit for more information.


Tattenham Corner Station

Tattenham Corner Train Station is approximately a 1/2 mile walk to the racecourse.


Epsom Downs Station

Epsom Downs Train Station is approximately 1 mile walk to the racecourse.

dress code

For the Cazoo Derby Festival, Gentleman are required to wear a jacket, collar and tie and ladies a hat or fascinator. Jeans, sport shorts, denim or trainers are not acceptable. Children should be dressed smartly. On Derby Day, Gentleman must wear black or grey morning dress with a top hat and ladies must wear formal day dress or a tailored trouser suit with a hat or substantial fascinator.
