Help for Heroes Raceday

Blog 24th January 2020 Exeter

On Sunday 9th February, we celebrate the leading charity for the Armed Forces community, Help for Heroes.

Every day, seven people have to leave the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds; their lives changed forever.

Help For Heroes help them, and those still serving, to recover and get on with their lives. The charity give them physical, psychological, career, financial and welfare support for as long as they need it. Alongside supporting their families, because they too can be affected by their loved one’s wounds.

With little to no funding from the Government, the charity mainly relies on the spirit and generosity of the great British public as well as partners and volunteers to keep going.

So far, Help For Heroes have supported more than 22,000 military veterans and their families, but there is still much more than can be done.

Join us for an excellent day at the races and enjoy a thrilling seven race card. Racing will be of the highest calibre, with candidates for the big spring festivals, laying their credentials bare. In 2018, it was South Molton’s Lizzie and Coo Star Sivola, who followed their Exeter win with success at Cheltenham Festival.

Get your tickets in advance and enjoy two Grandstand and Paddock tickets for £15 here.
