Warwick Racecourse Golf Day Raises Over £1,000 for Molly Ollys

Article 29th June 2026 Warwick

Warwick Racecourse's annual Charity Golf Day proved another outstanding success, raising more than £1,000 for Molly Ollys, while bringing together supporters for a fantastic day of golf, networking and fundraising.

Held at the picturesque Stratford Park Hotel Golf Club, players faced a unique challenge as temperatures soared to around 35°C, making it one of the hottest golf days of the year. Despite the intense heat, spirits remained high throughout the day, with everyone enjoying the friendly competition and helping to support an incredibly worthwhile cause.

A huge thank you goes to Beverley Haynes and the team at Stratford Park Hotel Golf Club for once again hosting the event and ensuring another memorable day for all involved.

Congratulations to this year's winning team, Aston Villa Foundation, who claimed top honours with an impressive performance. The team featured Gary Boyd, the former European Tour card holder, whose experience undoubtedly helped guide his team to victory.

The day was about much more than golf, with participants generously supporting Molly Ollys, the Warwickshire-based charity dedicated to supporting children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who took part, donated and sponsored the event, more than £1,000 was raised to help the charity continue its vital work.

Warwick Racecourse would like to thank every player, sponsor and supporter who contributed to making the day such a success. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another enjoyable day on the course while raising even more for charity.
