Ahead of racing that day, racegoers will congress at Wincanton for customarily bacon butties, before departing on a private coach to the Salisbury yard of Seamus Mullins. The behind the scenes tour will include a morning on the gallops, followed by a speedy return to enjoy afternoon racing sponsored by Lycetts Insurance Brokers.

Huw Williams, Wincanton’s General Manager, explains: “March will be a proactive month for Wincanton with plenty on offer for everyone.

“Firstly, I would like to thank Seamus Mullins for supporting next month’s Wincanton stable tour. We are truly spoilt by the support we receive for these initiatives – from trainers and attendees – which is an attribute I believe is exclusive to horseracing.

“Bathwick continue their long association with Wincanton and their ever popular Free Raceday and with Countryside Day falling on Mothering Sunday (March 26th) – we have recruited Bloomingdale Flowers who can supply flowers on the day to compliment any hospitality package.”
