At Cheltenham Racecourse we pride ourselves on providing a local, premium, and sustainable food and drink service throughout the Festival. We strive to support local businesses and campaign to supply premier brands and enhance the product range available to serve only the best.

We have picked out some of our favourite offerings at this year’s Festival inlcuding the all new offering in The Orchard with Gaucho!

In 2024 Gaucho brought the finest Argentinian steak to the Cheltenham festival for the first time. Racegoers had the opportunity to book into the luxury steak restaurant from 11am, where the first sitting were graced with racing legends Matt Chapman and Barry Geraghty, who shared their tips and predictions for the day.

On the menu there was the signature Gaucho steaks served with our ever-famous chimichurri sauce, paired with outstanding sides, including garlic and herb butter lobster, tomato salad and, of course, our perfect chips. The wine list features full-bodied Argentine malbec, some crisp whites and – if you’re really looking to celebrate – we have a limited number of Rare Barrel Mourvedre from South Africa in large-format magnum.

Reservations in advance were available on Open Table and there were plenty of opportunities for walk-in bookings.
