The Jockey Club today announces that Cazoo Derby Day at Epsom Downs on Saturday 4th June is sold out in all paid enclosures.
No tickets remain for the Queen’s Stand, Grandstand, Upper Tattenham, Lonsdale and Jubilee Family Festival Enclosures. As always racegoers can attend racing’s most spectacular carnival for free on The Hill, with the added bonus this year of celebrating Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Tickets continue to sell well for Cazoo Ladies Day on Friday 3rd June, which falls on the second bank holiday of the extended four-day Jubilee weekend. Ladies Day looks set a mix of top class racing with The Cazoo Oaks and the very best in raceday fashion through the return of the ever popular Style Awards. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended given the volume of walk ups cannot be guaranteed.
Phil White, London Regional Director for Jockey Club Racecourses, said:
“With the Cazoo Derby forming part of the official celebrations for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and taking place over the special Bank Holiday Weekend, the demand to be at Epsom Downs has been absolutely phenomenal and we are now sold out in all paid enclosures on Derby Day.
“Anyone planning to attend and who has not been able to secure a ticket for one of our paid enclosures can still head to areas of The Hill which are free to access and offer a great chance to be part of what will be a special day.
“It is a great endorsement for the place that The Derby holds in people’s hearts, the chance to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee and the carnival atmosphere that only the Downs can provide.
“Tickets continue to sell well for our paid enclosures on Cazoo Ladies Day on Friday 3rd June and we would recommend purchasing tickets in advance to secure your place.”
