“I have loved my day at Haydock Park. It’s been great to get dressed up with my best friends and enjoy a day out, plus I’ve had a couple of winners!”
Spotted at the racecourse were some of the cast of ITV’s soap opera, Coronation Street, including Mikey North (who plays Gary Windass), Jack Shepherd (who plays David Platt) and Colson Smith (who plays Craig Tinker). Model and bury-based actress Georgia May Foote also enjoyed the day with her friends.
Mikey North said: “Fantastic day at Haydock Park - a great looking local track with a decent vibe and some top class racing. The weather didn’t seem to dampen the spirits, I’m looking forward to coming back soon.”
On the track, the £63,000 Group 3 feature race, the Rose of Lancaster Stakes was won by ADDEYBB for trainer William Haggas and jockey Richard Kingscote.
