Their vineyards are sited on the North Hampshire Downs, where the chalk soils, cool climate and south-facing slopes are similar to those of the Champagne region of France and present the perfect conditions for the production of great sparkling wine. Our wines are now listed in royal palaces, Michelin-starred restaurants and iconic houses around the world, and have won Gold Medals and Trophies in all of the leading national and international wine competitions. In 2017 our wines were voted the Best Overall Wine, the Best Sparkling Wine, the Best Blanc de Blancs and the Best Sparkling Rosé in the UK (UK Wine Awards, 2017). They are still the only English wine ever to have been listed at the George V in Paris.

EBF STALLIONS
The Fund has contributed over £31.5million in to the sport since 1983 and has a current investment level of around £1.7million per year over both flat and National Hunt racing making the BEBF the third largest sponsor of horseracing in the country.

Founded in 1766 by Richard Tattersall, Tattersalls is the oldest bloodstock auctioneers in the world and the largest in Europe. Today, Tattersalls is an international firm offering 10,000 thoroughbred horses each year at 15 sales at either its Newmarket headquarters in England, or at Fairyhouse outside Dublin, in Ireland.
