Newmarket Racecourses supporting Crisis

11th December 2018 Newmarket

By Ben Holland

Newmarket Racecourses are delighted to be supporting Crisis this Christmas by collecting donations to help the homeless.

Amy Starkey, Regional Director at The Jockey Club, praised the support: "There is a frightening number of people that are homeless across the country. It's great that we can help by providing people with some essentials and some items of comfort this Christmas."

Newmarket Racecourses will be collecting donated items at their Westfield House office (CB8 0TG) until the 19th December.

Suitable items include: Biscuits, crisps, small chocolate bars, instant coffee, blankets, towels, colouring pens, toothbrushes, toothpaste, roll on deodorant, winter coats, warm jumpers, warm hats and scarves.
