If you’re new to racing, Newcomers Day on Saturday 4th January is tailor-made for you! Head to the ‘all you need to know zone’ where all those questions you’ve wanted to ask about racing can be answered. Pre-booked tickets are just two for £30 and with under 18s racing free, it’s the perfect opportunity to wrap up warm, get outdoors and embrace a day at the Wincanton races.

Don’t forget if the wind begins to bite, there’s a huge choice of indoor areas to enjoy at every raceday.

Afternoon Racing on 30th January is a date for your diary. Take an afternoon away from the office and head to Wincanton. It might be cold (don’t forget your scarves, gloves, and hats) but there is nothing quite like an afternoon at the races. 

There are numerous ways to enjoy your racing experience, from fine dining in our Chasers Restaurant to a slice of cake and coffee in the Furlongs. Don’t forget, you can join us on a trip to the start, where you’ll be as close to the action as you can possibly be, or watch from the Grandstand with its fine views across this idyllic Somerset countryside.

The Betway Kingwell Hurdle Day on 15th February will be our highlight of the second half of the Jump racing calendar. Since 1961, the Betway Kingwell Hurdle Day has thrilled and beguiled and we know all roads lead to Wincanton Racecourse for the 2020 renewal. It’s a race that attracts the best two-mile hurdlers in the business - the Lionel Messi’s of football or the Jonathan Davies of Rugby Union – and in the Betway Kingwell Hurdle they’ll be putting their Championship credentials on the line ahead of The Festival™ presented by Magners.

Our Family Fun Raceday on April 19th will include a variety of complimentary family-fun entertainment, along with excellent racing.
