BETTING WITH THE TOTE

Whoever you’re backing, the Tote has you covered.

How betting with the Tote works

When you bet with the Tote you’re not betting against a bookmaker. All the money bet on a race is pooled together and after the race, the pool is split between everyone who backed the winners.

You can bet online with Tote.co.uk at any time and you can watch all UK and Irish racing via live streaming- without even placing a bet!
As an extra bonus, when you become a Tote.co.uk customer you will receive a £10 risk free first bet, so sign up here today.

Types of Tote bets

There are a variety of bets you can try with the Tote. Some, like a win bet, cover a single race while others will be applicable to multiple races on the same card- like a placepot.

Single-race bets: The Tote Win and Place bets are the simplest bet you can place. Just pick a horse to win or place in a race. Other more exotic type bets, such as the Tote Exacta or Tote Trifecta can yield big wins from a relatively small stake. To win these bettors must pick the first two, or first three horses home in the correct order.

Customers placing bets on the Tote website or app will also receive the Tote Guarantee, where winners get paid out at SP or better.

Multi-leg bets: The Tote Placepot is undoubtedly the most popular bet with the Tote- you don’t even need to back a winner to win the bet! Simply pick a horse to place in each of the first six races on the card. All bettors who make it through the six legs win a share of the overall pot.

All bet Tote bets are available at Tote.co.uk.
