Day Two

Wednesday 11 March 2020

Adding a splash of colour to The Cheltenham Festival. Day Two: Ladies Day sees city girls become country girls and tweed become fashionably becoming.

Ladies Day at Cheltenham Racecourse 2019, saw the reigning Nicky Henderson-trained, Altior storm home in the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Ladies Day 2019 saw the return of the popular #ColourMeMarch competition, and this year both Men and Women took home prizes including A brand new Mini ONE, A Boodles item of jewellery worth £3,800 and much more. Click here for more information.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Honorary Member of the Jockey Club, attended Ladies Day and presented the trophy to the winning Owner, Jockey and Trainer of The Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase. Altior (4/11 favourite) returned to emotional scenes and two spontaneous rounds of 'three cheers' after possibly the most dramatic win of his career in the G1 Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Nico De Boinville was full of praise for the mighty Altior who equalled Big Buck's' record of 18 straight wins in a gripping renewal of the £400,000 G1 Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase, his second successive victory in the event.

During Ladies Day 2019 at Cheltenham, prizes were won by both men and women who added a splash of colour to their outfit and four very lucky winners won some fantastic prizes including a MINI ONE.
